CYBERSECURITY – Year End Review in Maritime Sector – 28 December 2021
Our reality has been changing at exponential rate, with cyberspace affecting traditional forms of security across business and government institutions. New technologies and solutions constantly challenge the conventional security models, while data incidents affect the individual, society, private sector, and the state. Hence, there is an urgent need to engage in a multistakeholder discussion for new solutions, models and conceptualisations of security in cyberspace, including maritime and critical infrastructure sectors.

He previously led Data Protection & Disaster Recovery in IBM. B.Sc. Computer Science, EMBA, and Ph.D. Candidate. Nir is an ISO Committee member in both Cybersecurity and Ships and marine technology.

Dr. Gabriel Raicu Cyber Security Expert, Lead coordinator of Black Sea Maritime Cyber Security Training Center at Constanta Maritime University, Romania. He is the Vice Rector for Research and Innovation at CMU. He is Director of the Maritime Cyber Security Center of Excellence and main coordinator for the Black Sea Cyber Security Conference series.Dr. Tal Pavel Head of Cybersecurity Studies in the Information Systems Program, at The Academic College of Tel Aviv Yaffo. Founder and director of the Institute for Cyber Policy Studies. Lecturer, researcher and speaker, specializes in cyber threats, and policy, holds a Ph.D. in Middle Eastern Studies from Bar-Ilan University, Israel.
